The first SCO Film Festival was held
The Film Festival will be held from 27 to 31 January 2023 in Mumbai, India. It will be co-sponsored by the Council of Heads of State of the SCO and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India, and hosted by the National Film Development Corporation of India. A total of 57 films will be screened, including 14 in competition and 43 in exhibition.

To accept the award on behalf of "Home Coming"
Entrusted by the State Film Administration, China Film Archive selected 5 Chinese films to participate in the competition.
"Home Coming" and "B for Busy" participated in the competition, "My Country、My Parents" and "The Nightingale" participated in the "National Spotlight" segment, "Goodbye Groundhog" participated in the "Children's Film spotlight" segment.
It is worth mentioning that Home Coming, adapted from a real event, is the first Chinese film about the evacuation of overseas Chinese by diplomats.
It is directed by Rao Xiaozhi, produced by Guo Fan and Wang Hongwei, and starred by Zhang Yi, Wang Junkai and Yin Tao.
The film was launched in China Movie Metropolis in November 2021. Four studios were used for filming, and an African town with more than 70 buildings was built at 1:1 in China Movie Metropolis.
The film was released nationwide on September 30, 2022, and became the National Day of 2022 with a box office of 1.593 billion yuan, ranking fifth in the domestic box office of 2022.
