China Movie Metropolis is located in QingDao West Coast New District, which was completed and opened in April 2018. China Movie Metropolis was certified by the Pinewood Studios, designed and constructed by the China Radio, Film and Television Design and Research Institute(DRFT). It covers an area of approximately 1.7 million square meters. There are 40 state-of-the-art soundstages, 32 multifunctional setting workshops, indoor constant temperature underwater stage and large outdoor shooting pools, digital lab for full-process post-production, large-scale live shooting venue, and outdoor setting shooting site.
