Four months before the shooting of "The Wandering Earth 2", Guo Fan's crew used China Movie Metropolis's new virtualization production platform, which was a big weapon incognizant when shooting "The Wandering Earth" .
The film and television virtualization production, is not only compatible with the most cutting-edge shooting technology such as motion capture and face capture, but also realizes the script visualization and periodic quantification of film production, thus significantly saving the time cost and capital investment.
It is the second time for the "Wandering Earth" and the China Movie Metropolis to cooperate with each other. Once again, the two sides have broken through the barriers and overcome the difficulties on the road of China's film industrialization.
Because of its trust and reliance on the China Movie Metropolis, more than 90% of the "Wandering Earth 2" is done here. The crew not only used 17 professional studios in the China Movie Metropolis, with a set area of 58,000 square meters, but also used the outdoor mountain bases, with a set area of more than 50,000 square meters.
