Complete production infrastructure for global storytellers

China Movie Metropolis covers approximately 1.7 million square metres and holds Pinewood design certification. The campus has 40 international-standard sound stages and 32 multifunctional workshops. Total stage area is approximately 109,000 square metres and total workshop area is approximately 47,000 square metres.

Production spaces

Stage sizes range from 1,000 to 10,000 square metres. The campus also provides an approximately 180,000-square-metre temporary backlot, an 8,833-square-metre water production centre, the 1,500-mu Cangma Mountain backlot and the Stage 5 virtual production platform.

End-to-end services

The approximately 20,000-square-metre digital post-production centre includes Dolby Atmos mixing, pre-mix, dialogue, Foley, colour, editing and review rooms. Production support covers IT, equipment, set construction, wardrobe, vehicles, extras, visas, accommodation and catering.

Track record

The campus has served more than 400 productions with combined box office exceeding RMB 41 billion.
