With the Sun approaching destruction, humanity turns Earth itself into an interstellar vessel. Liu Qi, Han Duoduo and a rescue team confront the Jupiter crisis on the ground, while astronaut Liu Peiqiang must choose between protocol and hope aboard the navigation station.

Directed by Frant Gwo and starring Wu Jing, Qu Chuxiao, Li Guangjie, Ng Man-tat and Zhao Jinmai, the film used large-scale stages and workshops at China Movie Metropolis to create frozen landscapes, underground cities, vehicles and space facilities.
