On February 18, the District Bureau of Natural Resources issued the "Notice on the Pre-approval Announcement of the Planning and Construction Plan for the Second Phase (C, D) of Qingdao Film and Television Location Project of Qingdao Sunac Xifa Cultural Development Co., Ltd.". The announcement shows that the second phase of the project will build a multi-featured film and television tourism town with film and television cultural production as the leader, integrating themed immersive scene entertainment, themed catering, and cultural vacations, forming a world-class film and television city. The project plans to construct 15 single-story, multi-storey buildings, including 2 buildings for entertainment facilities, 1 hotel, 4 commercial office buildings, and 8 commercial buildings. The total planned investment of the Qingdao film and television location project is about 5 billion yuan, and the total area is 1,500 acres. It aims to create a comprehensive film and television location that integrates film and television shooting, tourism real-life interactive experience and commercial functions.
