When the project was completed in 2018, Liu Ning visited QingDao Movie Studios for the first time and felt that "it is very professional, with movie-level soundstages, and synchronized international-level equipment." Since then, he brought the main creative team back here again to conduct field surveys. Considering that the scripts were shot on the ice rink, the crew decided to set up a standard ice rink in QingDao Movie Studios 6000 square meters soundstage. In addition, scene facilities such as the dormitory, changing room and ice hockey club in the play are also completed in QingDao Movie Studios, with a total area of 10,000 square meters. 

Liu Ning mentioned in the interview that in the past, there were obstacles in the transportation and unloading of film and television equipment, heavy equipment, etc., which affected the shooting progress. In order to avoid these problems, QingDao Movie Studios responded at the beginning of road planning. The delivery vehicles and special vehicles of the crew are "unimpeded" in QingDao Movie Studios, which can greatly improve the work efficiency of the crew.
