In the post-epidemic era, the topic of survival surrounding the film industry is bound to not be easy.

On June 12, 2021, at the opening forum of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival, Wang Changtian, Chairman of Light Media, and Yu Dong, Chairman of Bona Pictures, respectively made sharp live "calls" on the many difficulties faced by Chinese film companies at the moment. 

Wang Changtian called on the film authorities to establish a policy and tax support system with "content creators as the core" to help existing film companies get out of the current income dilemma.
